Our Heritage

We are from Muvattupuzha, a vibrant town in Ernakulam district, Kerala — surrounded by the lush greenery and rich agricultural heritage that makes this region so special. Growing up here, our family has always believed that the secret to great food lies in the quality of what goes into it.

Masalakoottu was born from a simple desire: to bring the authentic flavours of our home kitchen to yours. No shortcuts. No compromises. Just honest, handcrafted masalas the way they were always meant to be made.

Handcrafted the Traditional Way

Each of our masala blends is prepared in small batches using traditional methods that preserve the natural oils and aromas of every spice. We follow recipes that have been refined over generations — blends that know exactly how much pepper gives a curry its depth, how much coriander brings warmth, and how a touch of dried coconut transforms a dish entirely.
