🥣 Quick & Easy Preparation
Enjoy this wholesome porridge in minutes using a pressure cooker.
Method 1: Thick Porridge (Ideal for Breakfast)
Soak: Take 1 cup of Arogyaamrit mix and add 2.5 cups of water. Allow the mixture to soak for 30 minutes.
Cook: Transfer the soaked mixture to a pressure cooker. Add salt to taste and a little grated coconut (optional).
Pressure Cook: Cook for 5 whistles. After the 6th whistle, reduce the flame and turn off the heat.
Serve: The water will be absorbed when the cooker is opened, resulting in a thick, perfectly cooked cereal.
Method 2: Watery Kanji
For a thinner, more traditional kanji consistency, cook 1 cup of millet mix with 5 cups of water.
Serving Suggestion:
Enjoy warm! Enhance the flavor and richness by adding a spoon of Ghee (clarified butter) or a dash of Coconut Milk before serving.
