🛒 Ingredients Required:
Meat: 1 kg (curry cut is ideal)
Onions: 250-300 gm (sliced lengthwise)
Tomatoes: 1 medium tomato (sliced/chopped)
Oil: 2 tablespoons coconut oil (or cooking oil of your choice)
Spice Mix: 4 tablespoons (45gm) of Special Meat Masala
Liquids: 1 glass of water
Fresh Aromatics: Curry leaves
Seasoning: Salt, as needed
👩🍳 Cooking Instructions:
Sauté Onions: Heat 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a pot or pressure cooker. Add the 250-300 gm of sliced onions and salt as needed, and sauté until the onions soften.
Add Aromatics: When the onions are soft, add one chopped tomato and curry leaves, and continue to sauté until the tomatoes break down.
Bloom the Spices: Once everything is well-sautéed, add 4 tablespoons (45gm) of the Special Meat Masala and fry briefly until the spices are fragrant.
Cook Meat: Add 1 kg of meat to the mixture and stir well to coat.
Pressure Cook: Add one glass of water and cook in a pressure cooker until the meat is tender (the number of whistles will depend on the type and cut of meat).
Serve the rich, tender Special Meat Curry hot with rice, parotta, or bread!
